My departure time from the Bay Area and subsequently from LA is flexible. In a word, or 5, I'm just tired of driving. I'm happy to pay for gas. Depending on what kind of car you have, we can take yours or mine. I've got other cars in LA so it's not imperative that we take my car.
I have a strong preference for leaving LA/SF at roughly 4:30-5:00am because, among various factors, traffic conditions. I literally go door to door to and from the Bay Area and LA in 5 hours or less. I'm not expecting anyone else to abide by that kind of schedule.
