Research shows that wearing your mask, and opening the front passenger window, and the window behind the driver seat helps to reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus in your vehicle. See this NY Times article.
I am looking for a ride to work each day as I do not own a car and public transit does bot run early enough for me to ride to work. I have not tried carpooling yet, but I would gladly chip in on gas or whatever is needed or agreed upon.
I'm an 18 year old college student trying to visit my friend at Linfield college in McMinnville oregon. However, I don't have a ride from the airport. Ubers are $100 and the bus would take three hours. If I could get a ride with someone going from portland to mcminnville or towards that area it would be greatly appreciated. I am friendly and kind, but I won't talk your ear off whatsoever. I also have great personal hygiene so you don't have to worry about picking up a smelly stranger. Finally, I already had Covid-19 about a month and a half ago, and am now immune for the next couple months because of the antibodies, so you won't have to worry about that at all. It would be greatly appreciated if someone gave me a ride thank you so much I am just trying to visit my bestfriend who I haven't seen in forever.
