Dear The Mountain Winery concert-goers,

In an effort to encourage carpooling and minimize automobile traffic on the mountain, The Mountain Winery is rewarding all who arrive at concerts in cars with three people or more and all who arrive on motorcycles. The Mountain Winery has initiated a virtual carpool matching system that will benefit concert-goers of The Mountain Winery.

How does this program work?

The concert-goers of The Mountain Winery will click on the "CLICK HERE TO JOIN" button below to set up a personal account. All concert enthusiasts of The Mountain Winery carpool group must enter a valid e-mail address to access the group’s information.  You will be asked to enter the location of your “origination location,” namely where you live or where you wish to meet people in order to carpool to the event, you will then select your concert from the list displayed. After your account is initiated, you are able to view your matches and contact other travelers by phone or e-mail.  

How do I know my privacy is being protected?

When initiating your account, you are only required to enter the name of the city which you live in and zip code if you wish.  Though you and other commuters will receive more accurate feedback regarding the mileage and proximity of your locations if you enter the street address of your house, it is up to you to offer that information.  Only The Mountain Winery concert-goers will have access to this information. Users are not required to list their phone numbers.

How easy is this system to use?

Once you have created your account, you are free to search the site for other concert-goers who want to carpool. CarpoolWorld offers various search options.  You may search for those who live close to you, who have similar schedules, or who have similar driving preferences. If you are interested in carpooling with someone, simply send them an e-mail and begin to devise a schedule that is convenient for both of you.
