Retired male physician looking to return to Chicago after spending some time in San Diego with dog and family. I will have my sweet spoiled German Shepherd with me. She is too big for the airlines. I am not interested in racing back as I am planning on doing the trip in 4 days. I keep my car very clean and neat. Willing to stop for photo opportunities. The car is a 6 speed manual by the way with a new Thule bike rack that holds the wheels. Also, being an amateur radio operator, I may have one set up in the car for fun and to break the monotony of the road. No loud music (even if jazz), smoking etc... Also, I may be interested in a rider going out to San Diego from Chicago in late July as well.
