I'm generally pretty friendly, but mornings suck, especially when stuck in traffic. Carpooling makes so much more sense than everyone driving themselves. You can drive half as much, check facebook, email, or read something instead of driving all the time.
I am sometimes up for conversation, but often like to listen to music, may be in the middle of an audio book (with headphones), checking email, or planning things.carpool vanpool taxishare take mass transportation
We are a group of three state employees (two men, one woman) looking to add a 4th member to our carpool, which leaves NE Portland at 6:30am and leaves Salem at 4pm. One of our members lives in St. Johns and so there is the potential for additional pooling after the initial drop-off.
We are looking for a dependable individual who can add to the pool by driving 1 (car must be big enough to carry 4 passengers comfortably) time or so per week. The carpool usually runs at least 3 days per week but can vary onthe specific days depending on the schedules of the members. Schedules are worked out at least one month in advance. Anyone interested in joining should be using this group as a supplement to their current arrangement, as it is unlikely it will meet all your needs on all days.
Please let us know if you're interested and we'll get in touch!carpool
